Welcome to my portfolio which comprises a cross-section of my national and international work as a cartoonist and humorous illustrator for newspapers and magazines, greeting cards, websites, advertising and PR agencies, publishers and corporate clients, to name but a few.

01: X-FILES
        Sorry, this section is more Down-to-Earth than Extra-Terrestrial! These are samples of cartoons drawn specifically for exhibitions in both the UK and the rest of Europe.

02: CARTOON MISCELLANIA
        Everything from multilingual cartoons for security software company Veritas, a commission for Barclays Bank, a Toshiba TV ad, cartoons for the Natural Environment Research Council, to an illustration relating to the debunking of the theory of female fetishism via a thesis on modernist literature (don't ask!)

03: AIR CHARTER SERVICES
        Four of the cartoons produced for a PowerPoint presentation for this Emergency Air Relief specialist.

04: ALL RISKS MUSICAL
        Illustrations for international cellist and author, Alice Mcveigh's new book.

05: ANNE FINE'S WEBSITE
        Two bookplate designs for a special website devised by Children's Laureate, Anne Fine, to encourage children to build a Home Library.

06: BARCLAYS SARBANES-OXLEY STRIP CARTOONS
        Barclays Bank chose to use humour to put across a very serious business message.

07: BUSINESS / CORPORATE CALENDAR CARTOONS
        I produce many business cartoons both black and white and colour. These are samples of the latter, from one of my UK business calendars.

08: BBC TV's GRUMPY OLD MEN
    Some of my cartoon illustrations for the books of the TV series, Grumpy Old Menthe Secret Diary, and Grumpy Old Christmas.

        Cartoon illustration for the Health & Safety Executive (UK Government).

        Examples of cartoons commisioned for a security-awareness campaign.

        Does God have a sense of humour? This national newspaper certainly does!

12: CHURCH TIMES SURVEY 2002
        Some of the cartoons that were drawn to accompany this extensive survey.

13: GAG CARTOONS from PUNCH, PRIVATE EYE & READER'S DIGEST (USA edition)
       Cartoons in their purest and simplest format. Includes video gag showcase.

14: GREETING CARDS 
       The greeting card market is probably the most enthusiastic user of the tradional gag cartoon, these days.

15: CORPORATE / BUSINESS  CHRISTMAS CARDS
        Bespoke Christmas cards are, some companies believe, (correctly!) an essntial.  Samples include card designs for, Citroen, Nissan, Peugot, Mercedes, Birmingham City Football Club and Caterpillar.

        Examples of my editorial cartooning work for this national weekly magazine for UK's retail trade.

17: HAMLET CIGAR CARTOONS
         I produced a large number of cartoons for Hamlet Cigars posters. Here are just a few.

        Cartoons for HSBC's international staff training & development.

        Editorial cartoons from these two EMAP magazines.

        Cartoons and illustrations for the UK Recycling Industry.

        Cartoons from a series, depicting Driver Types, for the RAC.

        Two examples of the popular cartoon format puzzle.

        Yes, I'm afraid I'm a doggy-person! The real Tuppence died in early 2000 but she still lives on to inspire me!

        Four cartoons commissioned to depict specific character-types, published in the Style section of the UK's most famous newspaper.
