Most
commisions come to me via email and/or telephone. Whether you have
already decided that a cartoon or humorous illustration is what you
need, or if
you are just considering your options, I will be pleased to hear from
you and will be
happy to discuss your needs and offer suggestions, if appropriate. I
make no charges for
this.
If
you are in the position to provide a full brief, I can give you a
free quotation for the work. If, on the other hand, you have only an
outline, I can still provide
you with a free estimate.
If
you have already come up with your own ideas, that's fine, but a
large part of my skills lie in the area of idea creation, so please
don't hesitate to ask me to provide
the ideas as well as the artwork.
Any
quotation I give to you, unless otherwise agreed, will include:
A reasonable number of initial
roughs. The term 'reasonable' relates
to the number of cartoons or illustrations involved. For a single piece
of work, I would
normally provide two or three roughs and be prepared to provide up to a
further two follow-ups.
